Hello everyone, welcome to the second E-newsletter from the Diamond Producers Association (DPA). In this issue, we focus on the DPA's Total Clarity report, which is the first independent report detailing Members’ impact on local communities, employees and the environment. In addition, the 2019 DPA CHINA consumer campaign "Embrace Precious Love with Diamond" is in full swing. We hope to use this opportunity to bring the beauty and preciousness of diamonds to more people in Greater China. Furthermore, we are also dedicated to educating retailers on natural diamond by sharing knowledge with them.

The Diamond Producers Association Released First-Ever Comprehensive Report on the Reality of Modern Diamond Mining

The Diamond Producers Association (DPA) released its first independent report on Members' impact on local communities, employees and the environment. This report, authored by Trucost ESG Analysis, part of S&P Global, has analyzed the contribution and impact of the diamond industry. 2019年钻石生产商协会(DPA)发起“与钻石一起守护珍爱”的全民活动，共有38家国内主流媒体参与了DPA举办的“珍如此心 真如此钻——守护珍爱”媒体发布会。会上首次公开了DPA与“费加罗杂志”合作的明星视频，并号召消费者通过线上平台回答“你会做什么来守护珍爱？”积极分享自己真实而动人的情感故事。阅读全文了解更多活动内容

Embrace Precious Love with Diamond

The Diamond Producers Association launched the ‘Embrace Precious Love with Diamond’ Campaign in 2019. In total, 38 mainstream media personnel in China attended the press conference, during which the celebrities’ video cooperation with Figaro Magazine was rolled out. The DPA encourages consumers to answer the question ‘What do you do to embrace and celebrate precious love?’ through its online platform and share their real and touching stories. Read More.

Diamonds are found in some of the most remote places on earth. Significant investment and technical expertise are required to locate diamonds, where they formed billions of years ago.
